In June 2010 Lynda having suffering from stomach pains for over a year, was taken to hospital wherein it was discovered she had a tumour in her liver. After further tests, it was revealed that Lynda had indeed got Stage IV lung cancer, which had spread to her liver and spleen. In August 2010 Lynda discovered her cancer had spread to her brain, and on the 27th September 2010 at 11.45am Lynda passed away.
