Lynda met Dave Hadfield in December 1990 and in November 1991 gave birth to her forth daughter Rachel. Lynda was heartbroken when her daughter was born with liver disease and spent the first year of Rachel's life living at Birmingham's Children's hospital following Rachel's transplant. In 1992 Lynda returned home with Rachel and in April 1993 married Dave Hadfield.
